Story-Purposeful living…
Way back in 2001, when he found his Purpose of ‘Saving the Humanity’, he could not think of anything else but the ways to save humanity. He strongly believes, human beings are on the verge of extinction because of destruction of mother earth due to pollution, global warming and nuclear warfare.
He decided to take on all the challenges and he has become the most influential person on earth today. He is none other than Elon Musk.
He knew maximum pollution happening today was because of vehicles running on gasoline based engines. His Tesla Motors is instrumental in shifting whole of auto industry’s focus from gasoline engines to Electric motor driven vehicles. Taking inspiration from the success of Tesla motors even nations have committed their shifts to electric vehicles including India.
To make it even better, his another company Solarcity which is powering homes across US through rooftop solar installations got merged in to Tesla. Tesla cars in near future will be powered by Solar energy making it completely green.
What if something happens to mother earth because of nuclear warfare? Humanity must survive, to make it happen he founded SpaceX with a vision to colonize Mars by building powerful rockets.
His another venture called Hyperloop where people will move through vacuum tubes through shuttles from one city to another at speeds comparable to aero planes reducing carbon footprint. He made this venture completely open source by giving up the technology free and inviting various companies to work upon this idea.
In spite of doing all this recently, when he realized that humanity is under threat from artificial intelligence, he founded one more venture called Nuralink, a neurotechnology company which will help human brains to integrate with software and will eventually help human beings keep pace with advancements in Artificial Intelligence.
Whatever Elon Musk does today he does it for Saving the Humanity, his Purpose and he tends to it successfully overcoming tremendous difficulties.
Learning from the story
1. Purpose of life is to find the Purpose and live the life worthy of that Purpose.
2. We achieve epic things when we find and act on our Purpose.
3. When we act on your Purpose, we don’t see hurdles and universe conspires to help in achieving that Purpose.
