Story-Karma & Destiny
Once a business owner disciple went to his spiritual Master with a question. This question was bothering him since long. Upon meeting his guru, a disciple asked “Master; please guide me whether a person progresses because of his Karma or Destiny?”
Master went into silence for a moment, smiled and asked him a question?
“Do you have any locker in the bank?” to which disciple said “Yes”.
Master asked again “How do you operate your bank locker?” Disciple answered “we need 2 keys to open it: one key is with us and the other key remains with the bank manager. Unless we use both the keys, locker does not open”
Master smiled again & replied “Your keys are the answer to your question”
Disciple got puzzled and pleaded his master to clear the confusion.
Master continued “The key with you resembles Karma & key with bank manager resembles your destiny & bank manager resembles god who holds the key to your destiny. Unless you apply both the key you don’t get what you want from the locker. Just like that unless you take action (karma) your destiny will not have any meaning. Even if you deserve great fortune without karma you will not be able to unlock your fortune.”
