Once there was a king who was fighting a battle with his neighboring king. As the days passed the battle became tougher. The king sent for his leaders, & said “I want you to find a way out”. One of his leaders said, “My lord I know an old wise man who can help but he lives far away.” The king went to visit the wise man. As he met him, he requested him for help. The wise man handed him a small box. He said “Inside this box is a solution, but it can only be used once” The king thanked him & left. By the time the king reached to palace the war became better. The king decided not to open the box & kept it safely for a later time.
After a few years two of the neighboring kingdoms decided to attack the king. The war was bad, the king started to lose. The king decided to remove the box & open it. Inside the box was a small paper, it read “This too shall pass”! The king smiled, he lost the fear of the result, went with renewed vigor at his enemies, he won the war again.
Learning from the story
1. When we focus on end results, it tends to create stress. When we focus too much on the end result, our focus gets shifted from the present moment and activities we need to do now to get that end results.
2. We need to know the end results we need to achieve but once we know it, we need to then shift our focus to doing activities by asking the question “What’s Impt Now?” and focusing on doing that activity or step, one step at a time.
3. Results are natural byproducts of activities.
Questions to ask ourselves What is that end result I want to achieve? In short My Short term and Long terms Goals?
What all activities do I need to do to achieve my Goals?
What is that first step or activity I need to do now?
Let me assure you, it is pretty easy to multiply our incomes, build a super profitable business and put it on AUTOPILOT, if only we know how to do it and what is the practical roadmap to it.
