After solving the big problem for Indian homemakers to cook Vada with ready batter just like the grandmoms; PC Mustafa founder of iD Fresh foods was facing a challenge; the challenge of Trust. Their Vada batter was looked as packaged food by their consumers. Packaged food is not considered healthy and considered full of chemicals and preservatives. Though iD Vada batter was completely free of preservative and chemicals; there was a huge deficit of trust which was needed to be filled.
After lots of deliberation, they came up with the unique & innovative marketing campaign to fill that TRUST deficit to convince their consumers that iD Fresh Food Products are completely healthy and just like homemade.
iD Fresh Food the ready-to-eat food company installed visi-coolers called iD Trust Shop at residential complexes in Bengaluru. There is no salesman or ever watchful cameras. You can pick products like idli-dosa batter, wheat parathas, and chapatis, and drop the money at the box placed there. They replenish the shop on a daily basis. This gesture of ultimate trust created lots of word of mouth free publicity as well as filled that Trust deficit. iD Fresh Products is trustworthy brand today and is looked at a healthy alternative to homemade food.
According to Mustafa, these iD Trust shops are more profitable than their retail outlets.
iD Fresh foods have crossed more than 200 Crores in revenues today.
