After the death of his mother Clara Jobs, *Steve Jobs* tracked down his biological mother and sister. But he didn’t want to track down his biological father. So, he told the same to his sister Mona Simpson.
But In the meantime, Mona Simpson had been trying to track down their father who had wandered off when she was just five. After Sometime Mona Simpson tracked down their biological father and went to meet him.
She found her father working in a small restaurant. He seemed happy to see her, yet oddly passive about the entire situation.
Then he told Mona Simpson that she also has a brother but he doesn’t know where he is. Then he started talking about his restaurant “That was a wonderful place,” he said. “All of the successful technology people used to come there Even Steve Jobs.”
Simpson was stunned. “Oh, yeah, he used to come in, and he was a sweet guy, and a big tipper,” her father added.
“The poor man didn’t even know that the child he abandoned is now great Steve Jobs”
Learning from the story
1. In India, we are lucky to not encounter these kinds of situations because of our Family Value Systems.
2. Yet I see business owners are engrossed in their business so much so that, family & relationships are taken for granted and often times it takes back seat because of lack of time for self & family.
3. Life has multiple dimensions, real success is living holistic life in terms of all dimensions; health, wealth, relationships & spirituality.
Questions to ask ourselves
1. How do I find quality time for living a multidimensional holistic life?
2. How do I Put my Business on AutoPilot, which runs & grows without me so that I can live my original dream?
